As a life long design entrepreneur, Vladymir Rogov’s record connects to the history of some of the world’s most highly successful brands. These brands have brought consumer delight, generated blockbuster financial performance for investors, created employment and billion dollar revenues.

From musical instruments for kids and luxury vehicles for grownups, to medical devices for healthcare providers and rugged computers for the military—Vladymir Rogov has done it all. His belief that, “Art, science and design shapes our lives,” has resonated across the map in brands ranging from, Aston Martin, Casio, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung and more.

Startup to Mega-brands.

Vladymir graduated from West Surrey College of Art and design in the UK. and kicked off a career designing trade show exhibits for Automotive mega-brands such as Chrysler, Fiat and Ford; show rooms for Rank Xerox; glassware for Cascade; lighting for Compagnie des Lampes, and home products for Marks & Spencer’s, Habitat and Conran stores.

Touching lives.

Over four decades, Vladymir’s work has touched the lives of baby Boomers, yuppies and millennials, with his designs for coolers for Coleman; luxurious bathroom systems for Boeing; exotic seating for Aston Martin; self-serve gas station for Exxon; printers for Hewlett-Packard; cameras for Kodak; point-of-purchase displays for Yamaha; TVs for Samsung and clocks and musical instruments for Casio.

Cross-cultural.

Vladymir grew up in Germany, England, Canada, and ultimately settled in the USA. He’s authored five US patents, and his designs have received international awards, including two “International Design Excellence Awards” (IDEAs) from the Industrial Designers Society of America.

Entrepreneur in Residence – Connect.

As CEO and Design Director at Rogov Design, Inc. and a track record of, founding, mentoring, growing, building, positioning, pioneering, innovating, and driving product ideas to market, in 2016, Vladymir became associated with the Connect organization as an Entrepreneur in Residence. Connect is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and sustaining growth of innovative technology and life science businesses in San Diego. Since 1985, Connect has assisted in the formation and development of over 2000 companies.

Rogov serves on teams mentoring technology startups in areas including, 3D printing, consumer goods, medical devices and web based apps, on issues regarding product design and brand development, technology transfer and commercialization. His efforts have been devoted to new technology companies reshaping business and consumer markets.
